A collection of bits and bobs on my work and play.
That is what I do at work ... manage
software development. Although I'm a Prince2 practitioner, I
much prefer Agile techniques - I'm a DSDM practitioner and also run XP
projects.
Military History
and wargaming is
the interest I pour most of my spare time into.
My specialty is the Wars of Spain and
Portugal, and I've sections on the Reconquista,
Conquest of Mexico, Conquest
of Brasil, First Carlist War, Rif
War, Spanish Civil War, and Spanish
in WW2, amongst others. I also collect
armies (mostly 15 mm) for both Spain and Portugal
and for their enemies, and, of
course, I use all these to fight battles. I've
played variations on DBx, but at the moment Crossfire
- Arty Conliffe's WW2 rules - is my passion.
I like cooking, and people who come to
dinner usually like what I make. Over
the years I’ve acquired a bit of a collection of recipe books, and more
importantly compiled a selection of recipes from my friends and family.
So why put it on my web site ... because I'm not a cook, merely a
recipe follower, and having my recipes always available means I can cook for
friends when travelling.
