Devilled Chicken

Very tasty. Simple. Serves 4. Serve with baked potatoes, soured cream, and a salad.

1 kg chicken pieces without skin and fat (2 pieces per person)
salt and pepper

  • Season chicken lightly

  • Place in greased baking dish

3 tablespoons chutney
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 teaspoons Worcester sauce
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 large onion - grated
2 cloves garlic

  • Mix

  • Spread over chicken

  • Bake, uncovered, at 170 °C for 1 hour

Butter

  • Dot chicken

  • Continue baking until chicken is cooked
