Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Mushroom and Cream Sauce (Wendy Evans)
This is a variation on a pasta sauce recipe that Wendy Evans gave me.
Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
Cook until fragrant
500g mushrooms
black pepper
1/2 Thyme
Add
Cook 10 minutes
Tin tomatoes
1 Onion, chopped
Add
Cook 20 minutes.
Note: adding the onion later gives a milder/sweeter flavour.
300 ml cream
Add to mixture.
Mushroom and Yoghurt Sauce
2 cups mushrooms
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup yoghurt
black pepper
1-2 min on high
