Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Mushroom and Cream Sauce (Wendy Evans)

This is a variation on a pasta sauce recipe that Wendy Evans gave me.

Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon rosemary

  • Cook until fragrant

500g mushrooms
black pepper
1/2 Thyme

  • Add

  • Cook 10 minutes

  • Tin tomatoes

1 Onion, chopped

  • Add

  • Cook 20 minutes.

  • Note: adding the onion later gives a milder/sweeter flavour.

300 ml cream

  • Add to mixture.

Mushroom and Yoghurt Sauce

2 cups mushrooms
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup yoghurt
black pepper

  • 1-2 min on high
