Eti's Kids Chocolate Cake (Eti Wainer-Iluz)

Most mums have a chocolate cake to serve up to the kids. This is Eti's.

Cake

  • Preheat oven to 180 C

4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar

  • Cream eggs and sugar

10 tablespoons horrible kids chocolate drink (Milo or Shocolit or some such)

  • Add and beat

1 cup flour

  • Add and beat

5/8 cup oil

  • Add and beat

3 teaspoons baking powder

  • Add and beat

1 cut water

  • Add and beat

1 cup flour (making 2 cups in total)

  • Add and beat
  • Pour into greased cake tin
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes
  • Cool on a cake rake

Icing

200 grams bitter chocolate
100 mls cream

  • Microwave for 90 seconds
  • Stir until blended
  • Spread over cake

Adds kids
