Potato Latkes (Leah Eisinger)
Avichai Eisinger was coming to stay at Hanukah and he likes potatoes. So we asked his mum, Leah, what to make.
6-7 Medium sized Potatoes
2 cloves garlic
Bit of spicy paprika
Salt
1-2 Eggs
2-3 tablespoons flour
- Peel potatoes and grate them
- Grate or crush garlic
- Add everything together
- Mix well
- Heat up oil for deep frying
- Drop tablespoons of mixture into oil; remove Latkes from oil when golden on both sides
- Serve with Tzatziki or sour cream
