Potato in Mushroom Cream Sauce
This has become a standard accompaniment for when we have a large group of guests. Simple, filling and tasty.
1/2 - 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/2 cm thick slices
- boil in hot water for 16 min
- arrange slices in baking tray
- pour over sauce
- grate over cheese
- bake until cheese browns
For sauce
3 onions, chopped
200 grams mushrooms, chopped
- fry until onion softened
small bottle of cream
Salt & pepper
cube stock
- Add and mix
